Site Directors Information Page 2018

The site directors page designed specifically for Site Directors.  It should be used as your resource for program information / quick links important program announcements / forms and program guidelines.  Please refer to this site often before / during and after the summer track and field program to answer questions you may have.  This is your site only please do not send parents or volunteers to this site.  New for 2018:

 

> If you are a new site director you are required to attend site directors training.

> Saturday Meets will be located at Knox County area tracks – West (Farragut HS) / South (South Doyle HS) / East (Central HS) / North (Halls HS) – we will be able to do concessions at each site with the proceeds going back to the track and cross country programs of these schools. 

> Saturday Meet – The schedule of events will change from week to week – please become familiar with the schedule.

> The only competitive team qualifying Saturday meet will be the first one 6/9/18.

> 1099 Forms for those site directors that are paid over $600.00 will be filled out by KYA.  We will contact you in December for your SS#

> All site directors are required to submit to online background checks (paid for by Knoxville Youth Athletics) no exceptions – this is required for our liability insurance to be in effect.

> Online registration will end after the first week of practice.  After this time we will only do on site paper registration.  

> No medical information sheets needed for those that register online (medical info submitted online) only those that register on site

5/20/2018 Site Directors implement / equipment pickup – 12-3PM Webb School of Knoxville
5/25/2018 Deadline for Site Directors Online Background Check – First Step – Look up or create your USATF Number
Site Directors Background Check Link – You will be reimbursed for this (forward background ck receipt to Chris Kane)
6/5/2018 First Practice – Log into your site directors online link and download your site registrations that have come in through 6/5/18.  Please do this in AM.  All on site registrations will be updated on Monday after the Saturday Meet
6/7/2018 Second Practice – Log into your site directors online link and check to see if you have had any additional online registrations that have come in on 6/6. Shirts will be ordered Friday morning.
6/9/2018 First Meet @ Farragut HS,  please arrive by 7:45 AM
6/23/2018 Pick up Program Shirts at Press Box after Saturday Meet
6/26-28/2018 Distribute T-shirts to sites
6/21/2018 AAU District Championships – 6/24/2018 – Site Directors Help Needed – $ bonus for helping
6/30/2018 Final Meet – Return all Equipment, extra shirts, pickup stipend checks
