All entries and fees must be received online only by Tuesday, January 7, 2020. All entries and payments must be made online – no exceptions

ELIGIBILITY

This a USATF Open Meet for High School Athletes. If you are not in High School you may not enter this meet. Athletes may register as Unattached or as a member of a Track Club Team – Only. It is your responsibility to confirm that your state association will allow you to compete if you are a High School Athlete.

ENTRY FEE

$15.00 per event. $20 per relay. This is a USATF Open Meet Limited to High School Athletes Only. Athletes must register as Unattached or as a member of a Club Team. All entry fees must be paid online via credit card prior to acceptance. There are no entry refunds or entry fee changes for scratched athletes or no-shows past the entry deadline of January 7, 2020. All entries submitted without payment by the entry deadline will be scratched.

ENTRY DECLARATION / INVITATIONAL SECTION ENTRANTS

A copy of your on-line entries will be e-mailed to you. No other changes to your entries will be accepted after the online entry deadline of 1/7/20– midnight EST. Athletes to be considered for Invitational Sections must submit accurate entry times – 2020 Indoor and 2019 Outdoor Times will be used to determine selection for the Invitational Sections. Bogus performances will result in your entry being scratched from the meet.  COACHES IF YOU ARE ENTERING AN ATHLETE IN AN EVENT WITH ENTRY LIMITS – PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU SELECT A BACKUP EVENT FOR YOUR ATHLETE – NOT DOING SO AND ASSUMING THEY CAN BE ADDED LATER WOULD BE INCORRECT.  Entering an event with a NM (no mark) will guarantee you being placed in the slow section for section vs time races and missing the cut off in events with field limits.

TRACK SURFACE

283 meters unbanked recortan surface. SPIKE REQUIREMENTS – 1/4″ Pyramid Spikes ONLY

TRACK ACCESS

Warm-ups will be announced prior to each event field event. No running event warm-ups on track. Warm ups may be done on the upper level concourse, warm up holding area or outside. Warm-up on competition days: There are two designated warm-up areas for running athletes inside the dome. The area behind the PV pit on the South end of the facility will serve as one and the other is the area on the second level above the start of the 60m dash/60m hurdle. NO HIGH SCHOOL WARMUPS PRIOR TO 2PM FRIDAY.

NO COACHES ON THE FIELD EXCEPT FOR HJ COACHES BOX. IF YOU CANNOT STAY IN THE BOX, YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE TRACK LEVEL FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE MEET.

General Admission Tickets will be on sale for $10.00 at the ticket counter.

GATE DETAILS

Team/ Athlete Entry: There will be an athlete/coaches entry on the West Side third floor of the Dome. The entry door labeled Section A and B is the only entrance for athletes and coaches.  Teams/Athletes will not be allowed to enter thru any other doors.

Spectators: The entry labeled section C, D will be for spectators only. Athletes may exit but will not be allowed to re-enter thru the East Side entrance. You will have to walk around the facility from the outside and enter thru the West Side Athlete/Coach Entrance. *There will be an exit only entrance on the West Side labeled section EFG but you can-not enter thru this door.*

IMPLEMENTS

Only shots provided by the meet management will be allowed in competition unless checked in no later than 1 hour prior to event. Weight Throw implements will not be provided by meet management, please check yours in no later than 1 hour prior to your competition.

PACKET PICK-UP

Friday 1/10/20 – Upper Level Entrance, ETSU Memorial Center – Packet Pickup will open at 2PM.  Packet Pick-up will open Saturday at 6:30 AM and remain open through the meet.

T-SHIRTS / AWARDS

Commemorative shirts will be on sale at the meet for $18.00. Individual Awards: plaques will be awarded to individual event champions, medallions will be awarded to places 2-6. There will be no team scoring or team awards. T Shirts and awards available on Upper Level at Packet Pickup.

PARKING

Parking/Athlete Drop off: There will be NO DROP OFFS AND NO PARKING IN THE PARKING GARAGE OR THE LOT ADJACENT TO THE PARKING GARAGE OR YOU RISK BEING TICKETED AND/OR TOWED. Athlete Drop-Offs must be in Lots 22B and 22C. There will be no Drop-Offs in front of the Mini Dome. All Buses must park in Lot 22C. Lots 22B and 22C are located west of the Mini Dome directly across from the
Soccer Fields. To enter Lots 22B and 22C please turn onto Jack Vest Drive from State of Franklin Road, then turn right at the Traffic Circle onto GO BUCS Trail and enter Lots 22B and 22C on your right.

RUNNING EVENTS INFO

There will be preliminaries in the 60m, 60m hurdles and 200m runs. Heats are seeded fastest to slowest. NO RUN OUTS. All other running events will be run in sections seeded based on entry. Two relay teams per school in the 4 x 400m Relay and one relay team per school in the DMR. {Meet- management reserves the right to adjust standards and accepted entry numbers for all events.}. USATF Rules apply requiring athletes of HS age to use blocks in the 60m dash, 60m hurdles, 200m dash and 400m dash.

NEW FOR 2020 – Check-in procedure for events will match the College Sections. 

Check in Procedure: All Track athletes must be checked in 1 hour before their event start time and must return when instructed or you WILL be scratched! All Field athletes will check in at their event site 45 minutes prior to the start of their event.

Weigh-In Schedule

Weigh-ins will be held in Room E146, which is located under the seating on the East Side of the Mini-Dome.
